US trademark registration, filed by a licensed US attorney.

Protect your brand name or logo with the US Patent and Trademark Office. A US-licensed trademark attorney runs the search, reviews your mark and files the application — and, on our higher tiers, answers the USPTO's Office Actions for you. Every package includes the USPTO government fee for one class.

  • Licensed U.S. trademark attorney
  • USPTO government fee included — 1 class
  • Attorney review on every filing

Important disclaimer. * USPTO approval is never guaranteed. Every trademark application is reviewed independently by the assigned USPTO Examining Attorney. While our U.S.-licensed trademark attorneys prepare the strongest possible application and professionally respond to eligible Office Actions, the final registration decision always rests with the USPTO.

Trademark questions, answered

What does the USPTO government fee cover, and is it really included?

Yes. Every package includes the USPTO filing fee for one class of goods or services. If your brand needs to be protected in more than one class, each extra class carries its own USPTO fee — we tell you before you file, never after.

What is an Office Action, and why does it matter which plan I pick?

An Office Action is a formal query or refusal from the USPTO examiner — for example, a likelihood-of-confusion objection against an existing mark. Responding well often decides whether the mark registers. Protect and Protect Plus include an attorney response; on Starter it is billed separately if one arises.

How long does US trademark registration take?

The USPTO's own timeline runs many months from filing to registration, and it varies with the examiner's queue and whether an Office Action is raised. We file promptly and keep you updated at each stage; what we control is the quality of the application, not the USPTO's schedule.

Can I register a US trademark if I live outside the United States?

Yes. The USPTO requires foreign-domiciled applicants to be represented by a US-licensed attorney — which is exactly how every Brio trademark package is filed. You do not need to be in the US or have a US company.

Not sure which plan fits your brand?

Tell us your brand name and what you sell. We will point you to the right package — or tell you if a search turns up a problem worth fixing before you file.
