Amazon Seller Resources

Selling on Amazon US from outside the US? Set up your seller LLC here.

Everything a non-US seller needs in one place: the company, the EIN, a US bank account, your trademark for Brand Registry, and the yearly filings that keep it all in good standing.

Amazon adjusts its onboarding regularly. Treat this as a map of the typical process, not a contract.

Your Amazon US setup, step by step

Do these before you start the Amazon application, so every document exists and matches when Amazon asks for it.

Avoid delays

What most often gets new seller accounts stuck

Small mismatches between documents are the most common reason verification stalls.

Names that don't match

The legal name on your LLC paperwork, bank statement and Amazon application should match character for character.

Applying before the documents exist

Form the company and get the EIN before you start the Amazon application, not during it.

The wrong address in the wrong box

Your registered agent's address receives legal notices; it isn't your business address.

A copy instead of the original

In the video check, show your original passport, not a photocopy or a photo on another screen.

Common questions

Do I need a US company to sell on Amazon.com?

No. Amazon lets sellers from many countries register with a local ID and a home-country address. Many non-US sellers still form a US LLC with an EIN, because it makes US payouts, banking and the tax interview simpler. Our Amazon signup guide explains the difference.

Do I need a trademark for Amazon Brand Registry?

Brand Registry requires a registered or pending trademark, which for Amazon.com generally means a US trademark. Our trademark service handles the USPTO filing.

When should I form the LLC?

Before you start the Amazon application, so the documents already exist when Amazon asks for them. Brio forms your LLC for $1 plus the state fee.

Can you help if my Amazon account is already stuck in verification?

Tell us what Amazon asked for and what you submitted. Mismatched names and addresses across documents are the most common cause, and we can help you get your company documents consistent. Message us on WhatsApp.
